Tord Boontje kicked off DFR Talk Series 2021
During the interactive DFR Talks, which are open to everybody free of charge, speakers from the DFR network talk about their projects, experiences and visions. The talk series will take place online until further notice and started on February 18, 2021 with Tord Boontje, an industrial designer known for his expression of romanticism in contemporary design.
What we did next
How can we as designers and artists make a valuable contribution in today’s world? During his presentation, Tord Boontje shared thoughts and concepts around our rapidly changing environment. Using examples of his own projects and approaches to mass production, studio editions, industrial manufacturing technologies, craftsmanship and social engagement, he outlined images of the future and described how designers and artists can respond to today’s world.
The next edition of the DFR Talk Series will take place with Julia Koerner on March 8, 2021.
